Several young women disappeared during the late 70s in the same area, and none of them were ever seen again. For years, it was speculated that they may have fallen victim to a serial killer.
Years later, Polaroid photos of the women bound and gagged were found in a tool box in the basement of a vacant home. Police now suspect the women fell victim to a trafficking ring, back in the days when trafficking was called white slavery.
