Infinite Control...06 — Description

For Norman Osborn, it had begun as a day like any other. Waking up to his favourite slaves, as they apprised him of the ever expanding web of ensnarement they were casting over this world’s heroes.* Thanks to Mrs Richard's mind controlled betrayal of her own family, the acquisition of Reed Richards into his cabal of AIM scientists had only accelerated the development process of his enslavement technology. And his latest report, detailing the conquering of mutants, whom had no doubt thought they could save their brethren Firestar, was a joy to read through.

And so it was, that he was especially taken aback when his delightful morning seemed to suddenly be threatened by a flash of blinding light in his foyer. As three individuals, that he had never even seen previously, let alone recognized in any way, appeared out of nowhere. What was even more disturbing was that the two girls coming out of this…teleportation portal?...Was that what it was?...were flying!

He immediately barked an order to his own super powered bodyguards to quickly contain the threat. As judging by their colourful costumes, could these two women be more superheroines? Here to strike him down, perhaps avenging the loss of some comrades? For that matter could they be Avengers that he somehow wasn’t familiar with? In that case who was this man accompanying them? He certainly didn’t look like one of those costumed interlopers. As if in answer to Norman’s wonderings, the be suited looking bald man suddenly spoke..

“Greetings Norman Osborn! Yes, I know who you are. My name is Lex Luthor, and I’ve come a great distance to meet you. For I’ve been observing the events of your world for some time now. And might I say of all the dimensions I’ve visited recently, your current operations definitely hold the most interest to me.”

“Is that right? So…Luthor is it?...What then is the meaning of this intrusion? Are you and your super powered ilk here seeking to foil my plans? If so, I think you’ll find that you’ve made a rather foolish error. One that will be your last!! Isn’t that right my slaves?”

“Yes Master! I’ll incinerate this curvy one before she can get anywhere near you…”

“And I’ll soon bring micro-skirt here, down to Earth for a crushing victory My Lord..”

“Oh I can assure you Norman, that I am not in the habit of making errors. In fact if I had wished it, my own slave girls here could have taken you out in a blink of an eye, before your women even had a chance to react. But no, that would be discourteous. I come bearing gifts… Let me show you just what I mean..”
