HTTYD The Fire Tides - Tormentipede — Description
After doing the Fathomfin, I just HAD to do the Tormentipede.

This dragon was supposed to be encountered along with Drago, who would've been revealed to have survived the events of HTTYD 2. It was intended to serve in place of the prosthetic arm he lost, digging into his shoulder with its legs and acting like an extenstion of him.

In this interpretation, the Tormentipede is a parasitic (or perhaps commensal) dragon that has generally poor vision and is weak at flying. Hence, it looks for host creatures, typically dragons, but in this case Drago Bludvist, to attach itself to. Acting as an additional appendage able to shoot fire and defend itself and the host creature. The writer of The Fire Tides has said it has some form of ability to sense its host's emotions.
I've given the Tormentipede some tri-split jaws, with its lower two being like mandibles able to move independantly. This hopefully emulates the grasping capabilities of a hand, and I envision it being able to use its head in place of a hand for Drago.
