Death Note Raito Chibi — Description
My newest manga obsession. I didn't expect to love it as much as I do because of the morbid theme... but then it just becomes enthralling. There's so much depth and brilliance to this series and the characters. It makes me think of Bleach (the punkish style), Jigoku Shojo (Hell Girl - the morbid power of death & choices), and Spiral (battle of wits) combined...

My interest was perked about finding out about the movie coming out that Warner Bros. Japan division is doing. The effects and style looks really impressive so I'm dying to see it! It should be coming out in Japanese theatres in June. (ah if only I were there) So I started reading the manga the other night and am starting on volume 3. I finally understand the whole apple thing ;

The trailer for the movie can be found here & the official site --> [link]
