I Forgive You... Brother. — Description
The sky filled with sadness... and the rain began to pour as Scar assumed the thrown as the new king... but something was wrong, this didn't feel like he thought it would. He waited until all the lionesses of the pride had disbanded from the group and made his way to the bottom of Pride Rock. Alone. Solitude. The usual. The sky, though clear, cracked with lightning... and it was as if the stars... yes... indeed the stars were in fact crying.
Suddenly Taka came back from Scars fantasy world, he began to realize what had happened... what was taking place...
"What?... What have I done? What have I become?! Brother..." He slammed his paws against the hard rock and began to sob. "Brother I've lost control... I don't know who I am anymore... Or what I'm doing. Oh Mufasa, I've disappointed you so... Oh my Great Kings... What have I done?! I'm so sorry... *sob* I'm so sorry." In that moment a chill ran deep through Taka's body... and he could've sworn he heard his brothers voice in his ear whisper "I Forgive you... Brother."

If you're interested, once in awhile I'll make speed art videos with the song that usually inspired the artwork. It happens that I have made one for this picture (: [link] "Sleeping Sickness" by City and Colour. Don't know what it is about Taka/Scar... Normally anytime I draw him I'm listening to City and Colour or Mumford and Sons... Just seems to fit him I guess? lol XD For this picture it's actually a mixture of another song "It's in Your Blood" by Lydia... but I had already used that song in another speed art video... So I decided "Sleeping Sickness" was the winner. (:
