Music is all around us,
And not just through the day.
It's the animals who start playing.
When the humans hide away.

The bugs strike up a band
With a choir too.
Ladybird the violin his red painted beetroot purple.
Caterpillar plays the xylophone with odd socks on his feet.
With trumpets and trombones, horns and a cornet.
Bumble bees build a brass band, bopping to the beat.

At the farm it's in the barn where we'll find the animals play.
The sheep line dancing in the fields.
Chickens clucking up a chorus.
Horses humming to a trot of their hooves.
A Pig on lead guitar and sheepdog on bass.

Step across the ocean and head to the savannah
Elephants each sounding a horns
Rhinos in a row playing a djembe
You'll find the mbira played by Zebra
Gazelle will shake a shakere, but the lions give a strike.

Next time you lay down,ready to drift to sleep
Remember to listen hard,
Let your ears run wild,
And in the night time you just may
Hear the animals play.
