With nana. — Description
The sunday just been, my nephew Lachlan had his christening at the local church. As a result, this lead to most of the family wishing to come down to at least watch this as it happened. Can't say too much, but it was a good day. Still, there was one minor part of it which makes me laugh. As the priest was baptising him (aka, placing him in the water), Lachlan felt happy to be placed in the water. THEN get pissed off because he was simply dunked in it, and not allowed to have a full bath as he was expecting.

Now with that, I think I should at least cover the event itself since I know some of my followers might react against the idea of a child having a christening (or at least one whom shall not be named). If you do wish to type out an angry response to me, the uncle about what his parents did. Know I'll neither bother with it, nor care as it was something they felt they wanted to do for their child. Plus, just reacting implies there might not be some clear logic behind why that did it.

For those unaware, Lachlan is a child of two worlds. While his mother (my sister) is white Australian like myself, his father is Fijian Indian. Hence this means he is going to grow-up finding out about his family and where what his background is meant to mean to them. Meaning, both sides shall get a shared taste which will allow him to judge things as he desires when he grows older. For that reason, they did that.

In any event, it was a good day and I'll try to upload some photos later.
