She always wanted to be the first.
And she was.

She was the first to leave her family out of love for another,
The first to travel through the spirit realm,
The first to fall in love with a god.

And she the first to be changed into a tree that was a woman. And from her roots shot up the others of her breed, only she could not move and dance, as they did, she could only watch, frozen in place for all of time.
