Listen man.. Blair was just trying to work on their magic in peace.. and this guy came up and started talking to them. Now, Blair had not been having the best couple of days, and was incredibly frustrated in this moment. So forgive them if they growled at him to try and get him to leave. It didn't even end up working so whatever. He saw that Blair was struggling with their magic and offered to help teach. Blair hadn't gone to get help from anyone in town with their magic due to shame but... this was just some stranger right? Maybe they could get help from him.
