Chapter 4: Only The Hunt Is Aeternal
Blank emerged in the first area of Aeternus, picking up two backpacks. He also found that falling off into the void just warps him right back onto the platform he last stepped on.
For his Shotgun-class weapon, he had the Tomb Runner Shotgun, which used either regular ten-gauge red shells, or the blue-shelled Wideshot shells that were made for larger enemies. His Stiletto silenced pistol was a ten-clip pistol.
The OH-61 Assault Rifle was burst-fired for 100% accuracy while he aimed down the sights, picking off the long-distance threats; he hosed down the Cacodemon with some buckshot. Blank saw plenty of Fireblu in the large second area, finding the Vesperbane Crossbow as his Super Shotgun-class weapon—it was dead-silent as its crossbow bolts poisoned enemies, albeit headshots (or eyeshots, in the case of Cacodemons and Pain Elementals) dealt far greater damage per shot, leaving the poison to finish them off, or a second headshot at worst. Even Lost Souls and Revenants are effected by it.
Blank's Plasma Rifle-class weapon is the Biofog Caster, which fires short-ranged jets of poison gas for thinning out demons too close; secondary fire uses twenty units of the gas to launch capsules of the stuff like gas grenades to smoke out enemies in alcoves too high up to reach or from below.
The wide-open area was cleared out in minutes.
Figures these demons are so damn simple. Blank thought, finding the first Soulsphere secret. Then, a rift opened as he spoke aloud. "Best I make it quick, I guess." He headed through.
Blank suddenly found himself in a small city area of another universe, where he picked up a vaporwave-themed equivalent of his crossbow, the Dreamwave Crossbow. He was within a resting range of sorts—within a vaporwave-themed city apartment, where he peeked out to find an apartment block full of various demons that aren't hostile.
Huh, okay then. Blank mused. It's...probably gonna be a thing later. He looked outside, finding a seven-foot-two-tall eighteen-year-old blue-furred Renamon woman with white hair, black eyes with magenta irises, and a purple tube dress. She had a relatively-normal figure, despite her height
He had only a single shot with this unusual crossbow to pull this experiment off...whatever that was. The minute she wasn't looking, he let fly the shot, and it connected painlessly. This energy crossbow bolt did its work on her.
The Renamon woman's hourglass figure grew dramatically, scaled to her seven-foot-two height. Her bust surged from 36 inches to 118 inches, while her waist remained rail-thin at 22 inches. Her hips and ass bloomed outward, reaching an eye-popping 142 inches, creating quite the bottom-heavy silhouette that resulted in her powerful thighs and jiggly ass cheeks dominating her lower body while her impressive bust remained secondary. Her purple tube dress shimmered and transformed into a sparkling purple bodysuit that clung to every new curve like liquid starlight. Her nipples and southern lips grew into thick, sensitive nubs and plush, glistening folds. Her lips swelled three inches thick, glossy and pouty, as her pearly-white hair doubled in length, cascading down her back in waves. She let out a series of giggle-moans, her voice turning high, breathy, and bimbo-like as her eyes glazed over with lust. "Ooooh my gawd~ Sooo horny~!"
By then, a small group of Barons of Hell had gathered around her, their hands eagerly fondling her tits and ass cheeks as they grinned with predatory hunger. They found their next hyper-voluptuous breeding volunteer, with a side-order of pampering to keep her stress minimum.
Blank had already left by then.
Back in Aeternus proper, Blank continued his platforming, already finding the second secret with a seemingly-nondescript switch. He pressed it, then found a Skull Egg dispenser warp in, in the vein of a gumball machine. He took one dried-up green Skull Egg that was the size of a gumball. The machine disappeared afterwards.
The hell was that about? He thought. Oh well... He continued onto the next stop after a nexus of two portal areas needed clearing out. He took one first to clear out a winding corridor of dark stone with purple lighting, using his Tomb Runner Shotgun for the close-quarters combat; the Hell Nobles got the headshots from the Vesperbane. He made an odd turn, finding his BFG-class weapon: Der Stumme Tod—what appeared to be a stereotypical mini-nuke launcher. HE saved it for later and wasted the ambush horde.
Back in the corridor, he took a turn and found a corridor with red lights, and headed down that way, finding the third secret with another backpack. Another rift opened up.
Blank found himself near a poolside in a synthwave city hotel area. He dropped the dried Skull Egg into the pool and quickly bolted back through the rift.
Meanwhile, the following demonette came to be in the form of an unusual four-armed six-foot-ten Star Slug woman who had cyan skin, three black eyes in a tri-focal vision and magenta rings around black rosettes with a decently-curvaceous figure and two-inch-thick lips. She also had two antennae that glowed the moment a Hell Knight approached.
The Neon Star Slug demonette wore a vaporwave-themed bodysuit with shimmering electric blue with hot pink and cyan grid patterns, retro palm tree silhouettes, and glitchy Japanese text that pulsed with neon light—complementing her cyan skin while evoking that dreamy 80s retro-futuristic aesthetic. She uttered an aroused coo as she inflated her breasts, swelling them to nearly four feet across each as the glossy orbs of breast-flesh strained against her suit. She rested on top of her breasts like mattresses, using one tentacle-arm to move aside the bottom of her suit to unveil her plump, glistening pussy lips that begged for the D. The Hell Knight, charmed via the vaporwave pheromones in the air, approached and had quite a few sessions with her, each one ballooning her womb bigger and fuller with seed as the pair writhed in mutual ecstasy. Her tentacle arms held onto the Hell Knight's as he mounted her from behind. The breeding repeated until Skull Eggs teleported out one at a time while the Hell Knight was left dazed and flaccid. He was fully drained. The Neon Star Slug demonette drifted off into a lazy slumber while the Hell Knight took a smoke of a Vrack Botanicals-brand blunt.
Back in the red corridor, Blank wasted whatever monsters remained with the Tomb Runner, using the Vesperbane Crossbow to take out the Hell Nobles guarding the red skull key via headshots and poison. Then, he began using the Biofog Caster—the poison gas jets from the gun itself easily downing the Revenants that got in range.
Once he made it back to the portal he came from for the purple/red corridor, he made his way to the blue sector next. He found a secret Megasphere as well as an odd key. He blew through the demons, grabbing the Impaler Missile Launcher; each missile from that weapon had a powerful explosion that ignored the blast damage immunity the boss demons had. He didn't even hesitate to blow away an Arch-Vile on a single direct hit—the low max capacity of the missiles was the necessary downside of such a powerful rocket.
After telefragging the Spider Mastermind, Blank used his Vesperbane Crossbow to land one eyeshot on each teleporting Cacodemon that tried to take the blue key back. He finished them off quickly then—with the blue skull key in hand—Blank ran to the final area.
Blank wasted no time making his way to both the red and blue emblem switches, then he pulled out the Der Stumme Tod and fired out a warhead at each of the two Spider Masterminds that warped in...but the big explosion of poison gas had the sound come in the form of one great echoing fart that caused enemies near the massive poison fart-bomb cloud to momentarily hold back on such a foul weapon.
Once the Spider Masterminds were down, the other three warheads were more than enough to fumigate the entire area of threats. The ones still alive, he finished off.
Once everyone was dead, he hit one last switch and then headed up the stairs and onto the altar portal.
He used the unusual key to open the door to a private area where he wasted no time smoking. This private area overlooked the Eternity hub area. The Cyan Umbra, Ambientium, Chromabyss and Aeternus portal crystals had shattered, indicating those realms were finished.
"Okay, those are done." Mused Blank. "Now to wait on the others." He sighed, having a look at the file of one Project Valiant on his PDA that would have provoked a "bioengineered, cybernetic apocalypse" back on his former Earth. He stopped it, and didn't feel any need to transform from it. He looked back on this disaster.
At least my Earth won't have to worry about rogue AIs in skinsuits and cybernetically-enhanced demons.
