Chapter 2: Icewind Marikola
Marik had his twin pistols—Solis and Lunem—and found that before starting this next levelset, he had to pick between two pairs of cards; the white cards enhanced the post-map areas, and the black cards buffed the enemies for the entire duration of the mapset. As Marik was formerly from the Sonic universe as Sollux, he found the white card with Rouge the Bat clearly featured winking.
"Rouge's Emerald Mishaps"
"This treasure-hunting bat has a knack for Chaos Emeralds...but these are no ordinary Emeralds."
Paired with it was a black card that showed Barons of Hell and Hell Knights with a faceplate over the right bionic red eye.
"Cyber-Nobility"
"The Hell Nobles took after the Cyberdemon
-They're every bit as durable as usual.
-They use either a plasma ball or a Cyberdemon-grade rocket. Watch out!"
"Oh boy..." Marik murmured. "Here we go."
He wasted no time going through The Chill Before the Thrill, which had a small ice fort in the center of a rocky island. He picked up the Shredfire Pistol, which used eight pellets of sharpened shrapnel per shot in a single, consecutive burst that left enemies bleeding for five seconds per pellet, stacking up the damage. It didn't take long for Marik to get the red skull key, but the ice water was cold. Along the way, he found all the secrets, such as the walkway of Blurspheres. The secret yellow skull key opened the way.
The Chaingunners dropped a pair of Sunset Raider DMPs, that shelled out very rapid bursts of gunfire, hosing down whatever monsters were left. Once all the monsters were dealt with, he made his way straight to the exit portal.
The next area Marik found himself in appeared to be something different entirely. There she was, the eighteen-year-old Rouge the Bat that has quite the fanbase. There was a purple Chaos Emerald. Nearby, a clone of Marik's former identity as Sollux the Lynx—more muted fur colors, but sporting black eyes with glowing orange irises—hovered near Marik. Rouge was too focused on the Emerald to care.
"One of the perishingly few Mobian girls that aren't jailbait age."

"Just as long as it's nothing to do with the Idee-Dub Universe...we're good." Said Marik.
"Can't fault people wanting to bail on that trainwreck." Replied Sollux.AVI. "Anyway...have a look at this."
Rouge was entranced by the Purple Chaos Emerald, which caused her eyes to turn black with purple irises. She grew to five feet tall, her outfit transformed into a black bikini with a heart design for the top. Then, all of a sudden, her tits ballooned up to around four feet each, leaving her as large as oversized beach balls; they were squishy enough for her to use as a mattress as a nearby Cyber-Baron strolled on in, shifting his arm cannon forearm into a metallic claw. He had the metal prosthetic leg in the similar vein to the Cyberdemon.
"You've gotta be kidding me." Marik murmured, seeing the batwoman moan the minute her bikini bottom was lowered and the Cyber-Baron plunged his hard cock right into her. She panted as he plapped away, prompting Marik to leave. Sollux.AVI was unbothered, seeing Rouge moan softly as the Cyber-Baron came rope after rope, filling her womb. Sollux.AVI vanished before the climax.
Marik was back to just his twin pistols for the next map, Frostbite. He hopped down from the start to snag the energy beam upgrade for his Sol Cutlass; the energy blade beams had limited range but rapidly cut through enemies, more than enough for the enemies, up to the Revenants. He snagged the Shatterburst double-barreled shredder pistol that fired twice the amount of pellets for two Nanospike Shells. Marik wielded it and the Shredfire Pistol in tandem to hose down some Imps.
He also picked up the Sunset Raiders, and went to town on wiping out everything else in the map; the bleed damage from the Nanospike Shells of the Shredder Pistols made short work of the heavies. Once the five Chaingunners guarding the exit portal as Snipers were picked off last, Marik made his exit.
The next post-map area he found himself in was a casino area. Marik remained stone-faced as he was seeing Rouge once more. This time, she had black eyes with yellow irises as the Yellow Chaos Emerald was having her gamble away. She grew to eight feet tall, using the rings she won to by bust size to six-foot wide; her buttocks reached four feet, and that waist of hers were cartoonishly narrow. She was now in a golden bunnygirl suit with high cut in the leggings to allow for fishnet stockings, a dangerously-low cleavage line, and her southern lips plumped up by a few inches, along with her lips. Anon Mobians were checking her out as she was pleading to be worshipped.
Marik had already left the map by then.
It was onto the next map, Some Other Circle.
Back to Solis and Lunem. He grabbed the Sunset Raiders, sticking to the twin pistols due to unlimited ammo via reloads every twelve rounds. By the time he had enough ammo for the Sunset Raiders, he was good to go. The Cyber-Hell Knights and Cyber-Barons were capable of causing infighting with their rockets alone. The Plasma Rifle equivalent was an SMG known as the Fugukaze, which fired poisonous nanoshrapnel needles that poisoned enemies until enough poison—where it would eventually kill them—turned the hallucinating enemies against their comrades.
He was done with the map in under three minutes with all kills and secrets.
Then came a post-map area of Rouge with the Cyan Chaos Emerald—her black eyes with cyan irises all but making clear the emerald was controlling her. Here, she had a yoga ball-sized pregnant belly. She was more six-foot-ten here, but her breasts, hips and ass couldn't compare to her egg-filled belly—the eggs were each the size of a football. There was a rather-hung Cyber-Baron who had a cyan-colored upper body with a gray lower body, not counting the prosthetic. The metallics were darker gray with cyan highlights.
"Well, Rouge, I admit you churn out some premium quality skull eggs." Said the icy Cyber-Baron.
"Hmmmnh..." Moaned Rouge, lust in her eyes. "I can't wait for another round after this batch, big boy~ What's a few loads more~?"
Marik walked away, doubting anyone would believe the Skull Egg thing.
God, the shit I keep seeing... Marik groaned internally.
It was onto the next map, The Stairway. He wasted no time hosing down the gunners with Solis and Lunem, bagging the Sunset Raiders and Shredfire Pistol pickups. With pistols, Marik remained fairly accurate, except for the Sunset Raiders. The Sol Shot mini-missile-launching pistol ignited enemies on impact to spread light damage over time to other enemies around them—to say nothing of the enemies being cooked by the ignition. He got the yellow skull key first.
He got the only Soulsphere secret after getting the Fugukaze, which worked wonders on turning the Cyber-Hell Knights against other enemies because of the rockets they fired. The blue skull key was next. After that, a fair bit of infighting was needed to thin out the large ambush. After he got the red skull key, Marik wasted the small Revenant squad ambush on his way out. Past all the remaining enemies was the exit.
Next area showed Rouge having black eyes with white irises, under the influence of the White Chaos Emerald this time, inside a synthwave park area. She was eight feet tall again, her ass cheeks were four feet across each, and a Cyberdemon had sat down. Rouge had a form-fitting white tube dress, open at the sides and a neckline exposing the cleavage; the dress hem adjusted itself with a booty window as the Cyberdemon sat on his groin to let his rocket launcher arm shapeshift into a hand for groping and kneading all that booty with both hands.
Marik turned to Sollux.AVI. "I don't understand. Is this a 'hell' for Rouge?"
"Nah, it's not the real one. Just iterations of her, based on the real one." Said Sollux.AVI. "Whether you're into tapping her ass or not, it's none of my affair."
"And I already decided I'd rather have eyes for someone else." Said Marik. "The real Rouge has problems admitting when she's wrong, and that reminded me a little too much of that damn lemur Tangle." He shuddered. "To say nothing of that weed-haired time-traveling idiot Silver..."
Sollux.AVI groaned in distaste. "Oh yes, that weed-haired, time-traveling moron..."
"It's why all of us Sundown Rogues firmly decided against time travel." Said Marik. "All to avoid ever having to deal with him and his 'muh future' bullshit again."
"So you and your boys bailed on that world entirely, and fell in with Ozai's Blacksteel Exodites instead..." Sollux-AVI shrugged. "Oh well, you and your fellow Exodites won't be alone for long. You'll see soon enough." He vanished again. Marik continued on his way out, paying this Rouge iteration no mind.
It was onto the next map: Frosty Cream Glade. His inventory reverted back to the twin pistols and cutlass, he grabbed the Fugukaze and slashed up a few Pinky Demons and began shooting down the other humanoid enemies with his twin pistols, saving the Shredfire Pistol and Sunset Raiders for the heavier enemies. He picked up the Sol Shot for the Cyber-Barons. He also snagged the wave beam upgrade for his Sol Cutlass.
The manic nature of this very map meant Marik had to keep moving, dealing with getting chipped by the gunners' hitscan bullets and tight quarters.
After he got the blue skull key, he entered the ice cavern area and snagged the Blursphere; with Shredfire and Shatterburst in hand, Marik let the pellets fly and his sleight-of-hand reloading for both guns saw him through, all the way to the red skull key, then he hosed down all the remaining demons, finding a Sunstone Secret, which powered up his Sol Cutlass for the duration of the map. He made sure to kill all the remaining demons in this large initial area. Then he mowed down all the remaining demons in the final area past the blue and red skull doors, finding the yellow skull key for the exit door. With all secrets found, and all enemies killed, Marik jumped into the exit portal.
The next Rouge-related stop involved Marik watching as the fur on another Rouge clone's head turned black from the Red Chaos Emerald, with her eyes turning black with red irises and white heart-shaped pupils. She was seven feet tall here, but with tits and ass cheeks each measuring around three feet each; she had on a rose-red corset-leotard which was high cut for the legs, low neckline for her ivory-white skin, and she had thigh-high stockings as she levitated off the ground in this temple.
Even as Marik backed away, he was seeing the usual anonymous Mobian echidna men being molded by her blood magic into "stud muffins" who answered to the Rouge clone's desire to be bred, influenced by the red Emerald tucked in between her breasts. Marik himself walked out, uninterested, leaving the iteration of the treasure-hunting batwoman to her fans.
Back in the space station proper, Germain saw Omar and his group arrive at the space station. He even blinked upon seeing Garvier.
"How did you boys get here?" Asked Germain.
"We bailed on some kind of megaplex establishment." Garvier replied. "We just didn't stick around for what the damn thing hid." Germain shrugged as he was seeing the others continue chatting. Marco soon entered the commons area, seeing Omar's group and thinking to himself.
Small universe, I suppose...
Marik started on the next map, Cold Shoulder. He snagged the Shredfire Pistol, then the Fugukaze, and wasted no time using some poison darts to poison two Revenants enough to get them fighting with the others while he used two shots of the Shredfire Pistol to bleed out another. He had gunned down whatever low-tier monsters were in his way with just Solis and Lunem. He repeated this with two Cyber-Hell Knights in the large cave area, picking up two Sunset Raiders from the Chaingunner corpses.
He got inside the open canyon area and didn't hesitate to waste the Arch-Viles with the Shredfire Pistol. He also poisoned the Mancubi until they were hallucinating their allies as enemies to open fire on, having them help dispose of the Cacodemons. All the rest of the enemies, he took out without any hesitation. He found the Soulsphere secret, then continued past the Cacodemons, Revenants and Pinkies.
He entered the exit portal, finding himself inside a private bar room with an inebriated Rouge clone with black eyes and green irises, her breasts having ballooned to two feet wide as she had on little more than a black bikini. The lynx quietly bailed the moment he saw a Cyber-Baron approaching her. The Rouge clone purred, jiggling her foot-wide ass cheeks. Marik was long-gone by the time the sex ensued.
"I already know who the real Rouge has eyes for." Marik muttered. "And Knuckles just wanted to protect Angel Island. That much, we respected, which was more than we could say for The Stagnation."
Below Zero was the next map. He was pistol-starting again, grabbing the backpack before grabbing all the possible ammo he could, in addition to all of the weapons.
Straight away, he didn't hesitate with using the Sol Shot on the Revenant sentry posts to ignite the groups of them, switching to the Sunset Raiders to hose down the Imps getting in the way. Once he hit the first switch for the blue skull key, he dealt with the Imps, Pinkies and Cyber-Hell Knights, using another switch on top of dealing with the four Mancubi. The Cyber-Hell Knights, in the meanwhile, remained accidentally more helpful because of their rockets.
In time, the large outdoor fort area was cleared out. Then came the next area where Cyber-Hell Knights poured out, with the Cyberdemon also showing up. The Cyber-Hell Knights weren't immune to the rockets, thus a large infighting spreee ensued. The Cyberdemon was thus handled with little issue via the Shredfire and Shatterburst Pistols.
After that, Marik hit two switches to open the exit portal. Only one last Rouge doppelganger area was left.
This Rouge doppelganger had black eyes with blue irises, having the blue Chaos Emerald in between her boobs; here, she was in a red leotard, throwing her massive ass cheeks back for a blue-colored Cyberdemon with magenta wiring; her outfit was akin to a red bikini, but her breasts were two feet across each—she was eight feet in height once more, compared to her six-foot-wide buttocks. She was bent over, resting her breasts on a large bed made for the Cyberdemon
"Damn~" Purred the Rouge clone. "Already startin' strong, aren't we?"
Marik left through the door without a word. His thoughts remained internal. Yeah, I've seen enough. She can enjoy the horny fanboys.
There was one map left: Hot Action in Cold Igloos.
Back to his starting loadout, Marik gathered all the weapons, sans the Fugukaze, but including the Sunrave Device—his crowd-clearing BFG weapon; there was a secondary option that converted the Fugukaze Ammo into Sunrave Device energy...at the cost of fifty units per shot. This ultimate weapon charged up and unleashed a white sun-like projectile that barraged targets with homing fire, as well as igniting enemies in a radius of white fire that incinerated the usual enemies. The explosion ignited everyone caught in the blast in an alabaster-colored inferno, save for Marik himself.
He wasted no time abusing the hell out of this weapon to clear out everything in the first main area surrounding the starting igloo. He alternated between his arsenal to finish off the leftovers before pressing the first eye switch. He got the first Soulsphere secret before he headed on into the cave to hose down more enemies with the Sunrave Device, letting the projectiles pelt the enemies with igniting homing projectiles before detonating the main orbs in the faces of large-enough packs of enemies. First in a cave, then in a field of floating platforms.
Pfft, easy-peasy. Mused Marik internally, blazing through everything with everything in his arsenal, even the platforming didn't dissuade him. The backpack he picked up along the way proved to be a big help for him as he neared the end of the platforming madness, the Shatterburst and Shredfire pistols both proving indispensible against even the Arch-Viles.
And then, came the final horde in the igloo village, where Marik used the Sol Shot to ignite as many enemies as he could, using one or two shots of the Sunrave Device to clean out foes. Then he wasted no time using two shots of the Sunrave Device to ignite the final Cyberdemon, and then letting the white flames incinerate him before he went to find the second Soulsphere secret. With all the enemies dead, and both secrets found, Marik hopped on one final ice platform to sail away victoriously.
The ice platform took him to the shore of a slightly-less-icy shoreline with a lodge where he was met with Sollux.AVI once more, albeit there were a few others sitting nearby. First was an Avalician leopard his age with cyan fur with magenta-ringed black rosettes with white snout and hands. His attire consisted of dark-purple pants and a matching jacket emblazoned with a neon-blue moon on the back, layered over a sunset-orange undershirt. He also had on white shoes, and purple shades that hid his eyes. A Moonsword—straight-edged two-handed sword with a lunar-gray blade—rested against his back, sheathed. Merven Moondust was his name. He sighed in lamentation. "Another day, another future that never was."
"Not that Marco'd think his world's future was worth saving, mind you." Replied Marik.
The next being sitting at the table was a blue-furred Mobian lynx counterpart to his former identity with a black jacket with blue and purple highlights. His dark shades hid orange eyes. He had an energy blaster for his weapon of choice. Lunim the Suncatcher was his name. "Good to know Solluzar isn't a fan of any of that 'EXE' crap." He murmured.
There was a sunrise-yellow skinned alien man like Zantak with lavender hair, black eyes with cyan irises, and decked out in a sunrise-colored Zombieman-esque uniform. He was twenty-six years old, and appeared to have avoided death—not exactly by choice. His name was Merlot Dawnterror. "Not even death could stop me." He murmured, turning to Marik. "Anyway...I heard this Idee-Dub Sonic was just...wack."
Marik grumbled. "You have no idea."
After a bit of feasting from a long battle through the forces of Hell, the group left.
Marik returned to the space station, bringing Sollux.AVI and his group with them, finding Marco waiting at the 2018 portal nexus.
"So, you're bringing in new guests with us from the multiverse, apparently." Said Marco.
"Evidently so..." Said Merven, turning to Marco. "But at least here, you don't need to worry about the past anymore."
Marco nodded. Not that our former world was worth saving, anyway—given the heroines bit the big one...
"Anyway..." Mused Sollux.AVI. "...So far, rough around the edges, but...a decent starting point for the projects." He turned to see Samaiel. "Alright, you get dibs on the next one."
"I call Forest Swords." Said Samaiel. "All of you, wish me luck." He stepped on inside the portal. His time to shine had arrived.
