Ghost Rider (Carter Slade) — Description
In this version, Carter Slade was once a Texas Ranger back in the old western days and he was sentenced to death, when he killed one of the Rangers for be corrupt. He was in his cell, and was found by Mephisto, who offered him a deal that would free him. The deal turned Carter into a Ghost Rider. Mephisto then sent Carter to the town of San Venganza, where he collected a contract that was worth 1,000 souls. Knowing that these evil souls would cause hell on earth, Carter did what no Ghost Rider had done before; he was going to outrun the Devil. For the next 150 or more years, Carter hid the contract. He would now be the Caretaker of an old church's cemetery and he one day, he saw another Ghost Rider and he was ready to attack him, but the Rider passed out and reverted back into a man named, Johnny Blaze. He went to save him and help him with the Lore of the Contract of 1,000 souls and who Blackheart is without revealing himself to be Carter Slade.

He continued on and he was paranoid if Johnny Blaze found him, Mephisto may not be too far away. But, Johnny returns and demands the contract to save Roxanne. Carter reveals that it is hidden inside a spade, telling Johnny that he is more powerful than his predecessors because he sold his soul for love rather than greed, before giving the contract. Carter transforms into his Ghost Rider form and reveals himself to Johnny Blaze that he was the Rider that outran the Devil. Slade then leads Johnny to San Venganza and gives him a lever-action shotgun before heading back, since he wants Johnny to be the Rider. He would talk with Johnny from time to time and he decided to release the Rider from inside of himself and he free from his immortal life, so he can die. He would finally meet Danny Ketch and he told them to work together to stop evil in the world and make sure that Mephisto should be stopped. And Carter Slade passed away, with Johnny and Danny burying him in the already dug up spot in the graveyard and he was now laying in rest.

Carter Slade is definitely based on the 2007 film and modelled after Sam Elliott. I was going to give him a fire moustache, but it wasn't working, which that sucks. This is what he looks like as Ghost Rider.
