Silvaze: Never Let Go — Description
My entry for 's fanart contest. The theme is Sonic couples, so I chose Silvaze. ;D

I was daring and used acrylics on watercolor paper. The top half is acrylic, the bottom half is watercolor pencil. I'm glad it scanned as well as it did, because watercolor paper is always difficult since it wrinkles. xP
First time I've ever media-mixed like this. It was fun. C:

I'm bad at drawing reflections though... If you can't tell, that bottom half is really water. The image is their reflection, but in another form. (Yeah, because obviously the grass isn't orange and Blaze isn't floating in the air)
xD I was also bad at making them look like they were in the night, because my shadowing is bad. Oh well, acrylic fan art is really hard! (first time I tried c: )
On the reflection side I lightly sketched Silver and Blaze right-side up, but once I started painting I had the paper taped to my table (it prevents wrinkles), so I had to color that side upside down. It was so weird.

;~; No stars in the sky, sorry. Those are fireflies; in the reflection they're those fire ball things (I can't remember what they're called!!! O__o;; )
Also, the grass is fire in the reflection.
You see, I made the acrylic side the positive, "absolution" one; the reflection side is the tragic one.
x3 He's not going to let her go, especially after he catches sight of that horrid mirage in the water.
