"Diamond Edge", the cocktail sipping blonde bombshell, was quickly becoming the most respected female MC in the U.K. Battle Rap scene. Even if you weren't a fan, you had to respect her flow and creative schemes which generated some of the year's most quotable punch lines, along with massive social media views and likes. Because of this, her promoter organized what was to be billed as the greatest mixed gender match of the century. D.E. would be battling "Mastermind", an extremely formidable MC who styled himself as Leeds' most favorite son. The battle was held in an abandoned warehouse in Liverpool with standard rules of five minute rounds and best of three as judged by a panel of retired battle rappers. However, this wasn't some ordinary match where the winner walks away with a larger sum of money. Instead, the loser would be blasted by a shrink ray and their career thereby ended. As a martini swirling Diamond Edge explained in her final winning round:

"There ain't no such thing as half-way crooks. . . you can't learn the streets from history books. . . snitching is more risky than ordinary betting. . . 'cause shrinking pistols ain't got no reverse setting!"
