Pencil in Sketchbook. I was hoping to cut back a little on the time I spend on each drawing. This one took roughly five hours over the course of a little over a month.This time, I was inspired by chess (my friend and I have been playing several continuous games, though he beats me mercilessly every time). I have also never really drawn a horse before and thought that this would look interesting. I'm pretty happy with the result, though if I had spent more time on the drawing, I could have made the base of the piece a little more interesting.
