Buck Ranger the Intergalactic Space Hero! — Description
One of these stories are true:

Buck Ranger is an intergalactic hero on a secret mission to destroy the Colossians and bring peace to the cosmos. He was just about to destroy the Colossian Mother Ship when his ship was hit by a computer virus that caused his engines to malfunction, marooning him in the heart of enemy territory. He survived for months using nothing more than his wits and bulging muscles on a barren planet surrounded by hostile aliens that wanted nothing more than to eat him for a snack, until finally he was rescued by a Space Agent Expeditionary team. Eternally grateful to the angels that came to his aid, Buck Danger now fights side-by-side with the Space Agents in the name of truth, justice, honor and patriotism!

Or...

Bartholomew Singe is a bartender and a gambler drowning in debt. While fleeing from loan sharks, he accidentally locked himself into a cargo pod. Before he could escape, the pod was loaded onboard the Battleship Spartan and the ship deployed on a five-year mission into Colossian space. At the first sign of combat, Bart Singe stole an escape pod and crash landed on a barren planet. Fortunately for Bart, he was found by a Space Agent Expeditionary team from the Battleship Amazon less than 36 hours later. To impress the gorgeous Medical Officer that examined him and to ensure that no one could look up his criminal record in the Central Precept database, Bart decided to call himself "Buck Ranger" and continues to make up stories about his heroic exploits to this day. Although being the only man on a ship full of women is a pretty sweet gig, the Battleship Amazon has a way of getting Bart into mortal danger and he plans to ditch the Space Agents just as soon as he can figure out how to slip away undetected.
