All babes are wolves — Description
Jamie had known that something was wrong with her for weeks. It was little things that added up over time. The occasional growl that escaped her throat when she was angry, the licking of her fingers when she was working with raw meat, the sudden sensitivity to scents, the nasty paper cut that disappeared within an hour. They all added up to that bite she had received from that dog was something far more sinister. But she had ignored all those warning signs. After all, werewolves didn't exist, they were monsters from mostly silly old horror movies.

Now a distant part of Jamie was rethinking the wisdom of that belief as she felt the white hot light of the moon burn on her skin. The searing pain boring through her bones like a thousand tentacled dentists drills. Only the sound of a guttural growl passed through her sharpening teeth.

Tonight, the entire dormitory would reap the consequences of Jamie's denial.
