Thumbnailing the structure of the panel comp is like having eyes in your hand. Hard to describe how there can be such a big difference between inspecting the structure visually versus modeling it. It's like looking at your kitchen floor versus getting down on hands and knees. One way it looks clean, the other way it's obviously dirty. Or maybe it's more like sculpting. Looking at form is incomplete until you feel it with your hands. In any event, stripped bare of technique and unnecessary detailing, the structure here is easy to read. Anyone can build the structure. Then, all that's left is to switch gears and put in those details. It's easy, right? It's not about technique. It's about working methodically and having the will, discipline and endurance to work through all the steps. Sometimes that works better when you keep some distance to remain clinically objective.
