Raging River — Description
Allo, allo! I'm alive, I swear. It's been a really long week but look what I finally found the time to finish! I spent way too long on the water and I'm still not very happy with it but hopefully you can tell those are waves. Actually kinda like those jagged rocks though. Not that I'm great at rocks (this is my best ever attempt: www.deviantart.com/socksthemut… and, of course, it's a pencil sketch) but I don't think they turned out terrible. Concerning the sky: it's not night time in this scene (it's actually morning) but it is very overcast/about to storm and I felt the dark clouds added to the overall atmosphere. The water on the fur/clothing didn't turn out as well as I'd have liked but I think it's pretty obvious they're both drenched. If you look close enough you'll see a bit of blood on Kit's forehead. I didn't wanna make that too noticeable since I think the water (and his bangs) would conceal most of the injury here. It's more obvious in the next scene (mentioned above), of course.
