I donβt think so! I checked in with Deltaling (the commissioner) and he had some idea for the name but Iβm not sure how settled on it he was. So I guess thereβs a name candidate? But since itβs not certain Iβd rather not spread it myself!

Smoothness achieved by onion skinning and just doing a bunch of in-betweens :33 and doing things step-by-step
Dunno if this is of any help, but some progress notes:
First I made a sketch of how I wanted them to look (figured they'd be jumping out of excitement or something, so I drew them celebrating) xD
And then I went to flash and drew 4 circles to set the movement I wanted them to follow, one of them was with wings xD.
Then I drew them in flash and made them overlap with my circles, starting with their bodies and then piling up extra layers for everything xD
At first I used a couple simple motion tweens as placeholders but the end result is mostly shape tweens and frame-by-frame

Yup! It's funny I sketched it as a front flip but then it ended being a back flip because it looked better for the scene xD and then I had to google videos of bungee trampolines to double-check that I didn't do anything too crazy just basing things of what looked right. I don't flip too often in real life as I don't have a trampoline myself. And mine are low and clumbsy

All I've studied is Disney movies and anime I guess xD. And it's actually pretty crazy how much they focus on movement in martial arts classes!
I'm considering applying to some schools that teach animation; I'd like to get some practice in both 2D and 3D ^^ Although, I honestly don't want to leave home again right now xD .. and everything is so far

Yeah! I did aikido quite a bit actually. They have a ton of stuff on like center of balance, how it affects movement and timing and/or momentum xD I got my jump rolls down lol.. although I'm a bit out of practice as I don't want to get my clothes dirty everywhere I go xD Should totally implement those things in fighting scenes xxxD
