Been working on learning Bruce Timm's style of drawing using his book "The Good Girl Art of Bruce Timm: Naughty and Nice" (Big Pocket Edition), Flesk Publications. The inspiration/model/reference can be found on page 75. I did not just want to try to copy his work; I put a lot of my own style into this, so the only similarities at this point is the pose and her shoes. But I do feel required to put the relevant information, so as he gets proper credit; and, for those that own the book, please feel free to compare and let me know how I did by comparison. The overall technique is obviously different, but please let me know if you think I've captured his style at all. If interested, I do have my initial pencil sketch (inked), the lineart made using a lightbox, and a few WIP shots from the process I can upload. If you would like to use this, modify, or would like the lineart to do your own version, please just leave a comment, fave, and credit/link me back.
