The Newtailos predominantly resides in moist, temperate environments such as wetlands, marshes, and riverbanks. Its preferred locales are rich in biodiversity and moist soil, supporting both its regeneration capabilities and habitat moisture needs. Newtailos exhibits remarkable regenerative abilities, allowing it to heal wounds and regenerate lost limbs rapidly. When it's threatened, Newtailos can eject mud shots from its tail, forming a thick barrier to obscure its movements or to deter predators. Newtailos also utilizes jets of water and slime as both offensive and defensive mechanisms that can be shot from it's tail, resulting in slippery terrain that impedes the movement of potential threats. Newtailos is predominantly a solitary creature but often congregates during mating seasons. Their mating rituals involve intricate displays of tail movements and water shows much like water fountains, which demonstrate both physical prowess and hydration abilities. After mating, females create nests in damp, sheltered areas where they lay their eggs, which are guarded until they hatch into small, fully formed Newtailos which are called Newtinies.
