Description
Okay! This is kind of rough. Colored sketch, really, but it was an idea I wanted to get out there. A How to Train Your Dragon roller coaster! Why not? When you board, you can pick a night fury or a deadly nadder to ride. And then you're off, on a nice flight around a forest. Can't go upside-down, I don't think, but would be thrilling enough due to the open feel of the ride.
The ride design is based on the Pony Express ride at Knott's Berry Farm in California, and here is a photo: [link] and on this ride, there is a back pad that swings up and presses against the riders' backs so that they don't fall off the ride. On the dragon coaster, it would take the form of the dragons' tails (hinged somehow so they'd be down when loading but would move forward when the train was ready to depart).
