Elroy swallowed hard and watched her fingers touch his skin, not flinching away. "I... I d-don't want to be part of them.. I wish I c-could do it over and never have g-gone there." he looked at her face. "B-b-but if one g-good thing ever came from them I... I.. got to meet you..." he looked away feeling his face heat up. Nothing was coming out right, self consciously he closed his shirt and crossed his arms over his chest to hide the stitches and stains.
Joey smiled, yes. At least they got to meet one another. Get to be friends, got to come here together. "You're stuttering again." She murmured, a smile playing at the edge of her lips. "If you want... I could try and fix it."
Elroy blushed slightly, feeling his heartrate starting to pick up faster. He glanced at her then flusterdly to his hands. "I-I... uh..." he said shakily. What was he supposed to say, yes??? He swallowed and chanced a shy look at her face. He bit his lower lip then give the tiniest of nods.
Joey had to suppress her smile as she leaned forward slightly, pushing herself up on her toes. She paused, feeling as though her heart was drumming in her ears as she stared into his eyes, inches from his face. Then she closed the gap and pressed her lips to his softly.
Elroy blinked down at her then slowly closed his eyes and kissed her back, carefully uncrossing his arms and wrapping she around her, resting them on her back before kissing her again, pulling her slightly closer to him. Holding her, kissing her, the feeling inside seemed to be pushing all his worry and sadness aside, leaving only his actions at the very moment, trying to be as soft and gentle to her as possible.
