Ronan — Description

Splatoon is to me what MLP also is to me: an endless source to dump my random OC ideas onto
Ronan is a 25-year-old Giant Inkling who mains the Hero Splatling Replica. With a tall stature, a large and sturdy frame, and a rather frightening amount of physical strength, he's quite intimidating even if he's on your side. He's taken up the role of a tank, rushing to the forefront and acting like a shield for his less-durable teammates. Due to how much damage he can take before he splats, the other team will have no choice but to focus on him and take him out first if they want to get to the little guys— thus giving his teammates an opportunity to ambush while the opponents are distracted.
Ronan maintains good sportsmanship in any kind of battle, even if the others aren't doing the same. He has a surprising amount of patience, with the only thing truly making him angry being if anyone is being full-on bullied during a match— and you don't want to be on the receiving end of his anger. He has no issue in physically picking anyone up, whether to help an injured teammate or deal with someone abusing the other players, and once you're in his grip, you're not getting out.
Outside of battles, Ronan is actually quite friendly and laid-back, an almost humorous contrast to the beast he's perceived as in battle. He has the playful-yet-caring disposition of an older brother, and he treats most of his younger friends like they're siblings. As it turns out, he does indeed have younger siblings, which explains his need to protect others who are weaker than him.
