Description  He wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me impossibly close to his body and I have to admit, it felt good. He deepened the kiss and I gripped the back of his shirt, my lips crushed against his and my body still aching to be closer. My teeth barely caught his lower lip as he lifted me onto the counter, digging his finger tips into my sides in a blissfully painful way. Zacky leaned over to flip on the radio as I slid off of the counter so I was pressed tightly against his chest. He kissed my neck softly, his hands dangling loosely around my waist. As his lips went higher my hands wound deeper into his hair. He smirked then worked his tongue into my mouth, wadding my shirt in his hands.
“You’re truly addictive Devy. And you know that, don’t you?” Zacky shook his head, smirking.
“I may have had a hint or two, but as far as I knew no one was attracted so I figure I could set my own prices.” I shrugged
“I hope you’re not implying that I have to start paying for this. I’m going to have to break this addiction if that’s the case.” We laughed a little.
“You’re only getting your first taste and now you’re addicted? Hand over a hundred right now and pay my tab for a week and we can call it even.”
“Have you never been around rockstars? We’re trained to become addicted in an instant.” He grinned, handing over the money.
“So you like the taste of me so much it was addiction instantly? That just doesn’t make sense Zack.” I smiled, still slightly confused.
“Look Baby Gates, I’ve been addicted since I met you, I just didn’t know I could get a taste until now without facing your brother’s wrath.”
“W-what? No one feels that way about me, I’m just Devyn Haner and to a very select few friends, Baby Gates. I’m nothing special and definitely nothing for someone like you to be ‘addicted’ to.” I shook my head, turning to face the door just to not have to face the honesty.
“Look Dev, you can believe me or not, I don’t care. I’m being honest with you and that’s all I can do. I need you.” I faced his slowly as he placed a hand on my arm. His eyes were honest and I couldn’t help but believe what he had just said.
I kissed him softly and left quietly. I told Bri goodbye again and walked silently to my car. Johnny was leaned against his smiling at me.
“I’ll be seeing you tomorrow, er, well, later today. Bye Johnny.” I waved sliding into my car.
“Hey Devyn, hold up a sec.” he yelled running over to the car.
 “Yeah?” I smiled
“Look, I really like you and I was wondering if you would like to be my girlfriend?” he smiled, leaning against the side of my car.
“Oh my God Johnny, “ I smiled standing up beside him, “I would like that a lot.” I threw my arms around his neck and hugged him tight, kissing his cheek.
“So, that’s definitely a yes?” he grinned, kissing me.
 I nodded happily.
“O-okay then, I’ll see you later gorgeous.” He kissed me one last time then went back to his car.
I drove home quietly, smiling to myself. Johnny was a sweetheart and I loved him to death and now he’s my boyfriend. I was on cloud nine when two thoughts hit me. What would Brian think? And could I keep things under control with Zacky?
Immediately, I picked up my phone upon entering the house. I dialed the number and it started ringing. After the second ring Brian’s sleepy voice chided a hello.
“Hey, I need to talk, can you?” I started
“Yeah, what do you need lil sis?” he was a clueless as ever
“Um, I wanted to tell you that me and Johnny are dating. Are you okay with that?”
“If you’re happy with him then I would see no problem with it. Anything else you want to talk about?” I could now hear the smile in his voice.
“Nope, I’ll see you later brotha. Oh, and you’re sure you’re fine with me going on tour with you, right?” I asked, just to make sure.
“Yeah, just, nothing I wouldn’t let you do without me. Being on tour, you’re going to learn just how hard it is to stay clean.” He warned. Brian was everything to me; a brother, father, and best friend.
“Don’t worry Bri, I won’t touch it, I have kick your ass at video games don’t I?” I laughed
“Fat chance little sister. No one can beat me, I’ve got mad skills!”
 “Never stopped me before!”
"Okay, I know when to shut up. Good night Mo.” He chuckled
 “Night Bri.” I smiled
I ended the call then faced the dial pad again to make the call I didn’t want to go through. I hit the speed dial number and pressed the call button, bringing the phone to my ear slowly. Three rings later someone answered.
 “Mmmm?” he asked sleepily
“Hey, I have something to tell you Zacky.” I sighed, warily.
“And that would be?” he asked patiently
“You’re going to have to break your addiction…pretty much immediately.” I explained
“What the hell are you talking about Baby Gates?”
“I’m dating Johnny now and we can’t keep doing what we are. I just can’t.” I wished I was lying
“We can’t or you can’t?” I could hear the edge in his voice.
“I can’t. I can’t lie to Johnny like that and you know me trying to keep something from Brian is like you saying you can’t play guitar. It’s something that wouldn’t happen. And we’re all about to live on a tour bus for something like three to four months. What’s going to happen then Zack?” I was searching for a reason, not only for him, but for myself as well, “Please don’t let mad at Johnny or anyone besides me for any of this. I’m the one that did all of this and now I’m trying to make it good before things can get worse. I won’t blame you if you hate me, I halfway expect it.” I mumbled almost to myself.
“Look, I understand and I’m not going to say I’m perfectly okay or that I don’t blame you at least partially because I’d be lying to you if I did. I’m a jealous person so I probably won’t do a whole lot of talking to you for a while. Nothing will change between Johnny and I and everything will be pretty much normal, okay?” he stated quite matter-of-fact’ly
“Okay, bye,” I whispered, not understanding why I was struggling to hold back tears.
“Good night Baby Gates.” He said warmly as I hung up.
