1.Good morning.Your name and age?
Hi! Uh, my name's Bason, but most people know me by my stage name, "B Valentine". I'm 21...ish.

Music

2.How did you start your career?
*laughs* Out of neccesity. It's kinda hard to get a job when you don't have any ID, and a man's gotta eat, so I used the tiny, tiny funds I had to buy a second-hand guitar, and I never looked back.

3.Do you play in a band or solo?If in a Band,tell us which.
Oh, I'm a solo act. I've played WITH bands and it's fun, so I wouldn't mind joining one.

4.Singing or playing an instrument?
I do both. I'm a good multi-tasker

5.What instruments can you play?
Uh, just guitar.... I don't think I should try anything else until I get pretty near perfect with what I'm doing.

6.What type of music do you play?
Kind of a cross between Emo Screamo and Melodic Hardcore. I don't scream, though, beacuse well.... I sound like a cat being killed by a ham sandwich when I try. But I love fast, complicated riffs. Some people have even said I sound kinda progy.

LIFE

7.Single or taken?
Single. I'm kind of.... poor... so, unless you like romantic dinners off the dollar menu, there's not much I can do.

8.Your way of saying "I love you"?
It depends. Like, if I were dating, I'd proably write a song for whoever. But when people do things for me, I usually just hug them in a very uncomfortable way and proclaim that I love them. ...I've made a lot of enimies like that...

9.Do you smoke,drink or do drugs?
Well, I smoke. I mean, c'mon- it's cool. And if somebody's willing to buy a round, who am I to turn it down? But I'm living hand to mouth as it is, so I don't have the funds for drugs.

10.What are the differences between the real you,and the stage person?
Uhm, well... the real me's kinda introverted. And doesn't like too many people in his personal space. You have to put up with that if you wanna be a musician, especially a rock musician. Oh! And the real me has stage fright like nobody's bussiness.

STYLE

11.What kind of clothing do you like?
The kind I can afford, which generally boils down to thrift store rags and shirts generously donated by other bands. Uh... I don't really like color that much, so I steer towards neutral things- black, white, grey. That sort of thing. Gold trim is a bonus for anything, though.

12.How often do you have photoshoots?
If by "photoshoot" you mean having my picture taken with fangirls-slash-boys, then always. Every. Frikkin'. Day. But REAL photoshoots, like, were they provide the clothes and shiz, not that often. I've had like, three, but that was with local independant papers and fanzines.

13.How do you wear your hair?
Down. I don't like a lot of fuss. And I know it SEEMS like more fuss to wear your hair down when it's long, but if I tie it in a ponytail, two things'll happen. One, it'll get tangled in the scrunchie and prove hell to get loose. Two, bussiness men will think I'm a prostitute. I'll do a lot of things for money, but that ain't one of them.

14.Do you want to add something else? Maybe a message for the fans?
Well, I COULD say something gay and cliched about how anyone can acheieve their dreams if they work hard enough, but like I said- gay. So instead, I'd like to say this. It's fine and dnady when fans wanna touch me on stage even though I don't get why they'd want to grab handfuls of dirty, sweat-soaked hair... but the crotch is off limits. I'm serious, you know who you are; it's very hard to concentrate on singing when five plus people are trying to grab your package.
