Hurrah! Hallellujah!! I finished! I finished it!
This is the project I've been working on the last two weeks, whenever I could get the computer... that eventually become an obssession. I even put aside more important stuff, just couldn't help but wanting to see it ready. But it 's finished at last, for best or worse, and after this'll be really busy with other works of more responsibility.

Well, "Vegeta is" has became my most popular work here... it must be reaching the 80 faves, if I´m not wrong. And it ocurred me that Bulma is much more abused in fanfiction than her husband. Luckily, now we can post more than one submission to "Character is", [link] but even if not, I would have done that.

I initially had planned it in the classic "Character is" role, with the last colun "She's not in love with 17, Radditz, etc..." but then, I realized the number of abusing Bulma suffers from other characters is much bigger than her alternative pairings. The Yamcha pannel is dedicated to Debbiechan and other of my pro-Yamcha friends from DBZ Fanfic Salon... Im not a Yamcha fan, but always found absurd those fics that villanize him, poor boy. Yet the fics where Bulma is abused by Vegeta or her father are even worse. I honesly don't believe she´s a masochist to be in love with a man that beaten and terrified her (though her early years with Vegeta were't certainly a sea of roses). And her father... the poor old man is a sweet!

Alternate fanfiction has its advantages to change the story and put our characters doing what they don't in canon, allright... yet, I always found funny that in practically every AU Sci-fi stuff Bulma is seen as the most gorgeous woman in the universe. She´s pursued by Freeza, Zarbon, Vegeta, Dodoria, the Ginyu Troop, Nappa, Radditz, to not mention that almost every alien she meets is a Kameroshi in potential, no matter if they have tentacles or claws. A friend of mine commented she must have very strong feromones.

It's impressive the number of fics where Zarbon or Radditz (or both) are utterly obssessed with Bulma's beauty. Well, again fanfiction is for us to make happen things we'd like to see... but couldn't help thinking it´s funny to see these two drooling over a woman they ignored completely in canon!

About the pannel 11... perhaps some might feel disturbed for this, but I did my best to lighten it up. I had cases of cancer in my own family, so I have good reasons for hating to see my dear character getting destroyed by terminal diseases.

The pannel four of the first column is a little vulgar, perhaps... but there was a space missing, and couldn't think of anything better. Like most of BV lovers, I like Bulma and Vegeta´s hentais (I´m not a nun!), but, honestly, I frequently think people makes them as... two perverteds hungry for sex, at the lack of a better word. (remember the "not perverted pannel in Vegeta is?) And it always irritated me the fics that claim that Bulma "had many men between Yamcha and Vegeta". By the fact that she was a "little" flirty it doesn´t mean she is really promiscuous!!
