Cyclops — Description

While logan might be the fan favourite, there’s no denying that the X-Men have only one true leader in Cyclops.
Scott is the consummate X-Man, Chuck's first student (if you ignore gabe and his cronies). His best and brightest.
The one who stayed when others drifted, who carried the mission when it seemed impossible. Where Logan is instinct and emotion,
Scott is discipline and strategy, a tactician who sees the battlefield three moves ahead in all shades of red and makes the hard call,
even when it costs him personally. His tenure as leader has been stacked with defining highs and brutal lows, he's led the team through some of their most dangerous eras,
held mutantkind together after decimation, and made deeply controversial choices during events (like Avengers vs. X-Men) that pushed him from boy scout to revolutionary in the eyes of the world.
Whether you agreed with him or not, he was always acting from a place of responsibility to his people. There’s something about his aesthetic too, the visor, the belts, the optic blasts, it all just...works. hahah.
He has to hold himself back every second of every day, and that repression bleeds out into his character a lot.
but at his core, Scott is the big brother of the X-Men. sometimes stern. often flawed. occasionally so focused on the mission that he loses sight of the personal.
But he never stops fighting for a world that hates and fears him - that faith in Xavier’s dream, even when he the weight of it threatens to crush him is what makes Cyclops the backbone of the team.
