Enjoying the Sunshine — Description
This is a 5 year old drawing of mine I found recently and decided to revisit, restore and retouch. Basically modified the body position so it wouldn't be as "stale" as before and fixed a few proportion glitches (in general, I'm not that good when it comes to character proportions, so there may still be disproportions...so please bare with me...).
Anyway, once done, I then decided to add some background, which I did on Photoshop once I was done "inking" and cleaning it up. As far as the background is concerned, I just played with different kinds of brushes on Photoshop until the end result came up
Personally, I like the contrast between the pencil drawn monochrome character and the colorful background...it's as if the character in it is discovering a new world full of colors which she's never seen before (hmmm, sounds WAY too much like that Pleasantville movie....)
