This little wimpod used to enjoy a reasonably comfortable life with her buizel friend, she kept a rocky hideaway nice and tidy and the buizel kept them both fed. She used to until Zephyr found her one day...
Wimpods are normally timid creatures so Team Zephyr started to abuse her to try to shadow her and make Ignavia more aggressive. And it worked. Ignavia soon became so frightened of everything around her that the smallest movement would send her attacking it preemptively to avoid being hurt. She continued in this neurotic behavior for weeks until she snapped.
The Zephyrs thought they could push her further into her aggression by closing her heart, but instead she simply stopped caring. About anything. Including herself. At this point the Zephyr team member in charge of her could punt her across the room or dribble acid on her shell and she wouldn't react at all.
Seeing the wimpod as a failed experiment, Team Zephyr brought her back out to where they found her, hoping that maybe she'd at least spread her virus when she was eaten. Thankfully for Iggy, Otterpop, her buizel friend, got to her first and found a trainer to help her heal. Now hopefully she can recover...
Update! Thanks to Acacia's hard work and perseverance, Ignavia has regained her normal coloring by healing to a shadowed pokemon! With this boosting Acacia's determination, true purification should be coming soon!
Update! Through hard work, perseverance, and a lot of gentleness, Ignavia is now CURED! The blessings of Ho-oh have left their mark by making her melanistic! She is still skittish, but at normal levels for a wimpod. The only times she is truly calm and feels completely safe are with either her best friend Otterpop or being held by Acacia, her trainer!
Her current favorite activity is cleaning up sand and pebbles in the living room. Acacia has learned to occasionally drop a few pretty pebbles specifically for the buggo to find. She enjoys tidying them up and using them as decorations for her makeshift cave (under the couch).
