Description Home-made Sideshow Mel. I've been into making ragdolls on and off again, and he was among the first ones that I made. Even though he has no bone, I really can't put one in there as his neck already can't support his head and hair. :/ No necklace or mouth, as he was made in a time before I knew how to make them. Or, at least, before I knew what expression he should have for the rest of his life. ^_^ Actually, that's mostly why I didn't make mouths on my earlier dolls and still refuse to, because I don't want them being trapped in one expression for the rest of their lives. If it doesn't make sense, poo to you. I like my babies having freedom.

I don't plan on selling or making any profit off of him, no copyright infringement intended, I don't own the character (but I do own the doll...Duh!). Point being, don't sue me or anything.

Really nice!

No mouth makes sense because then he can be feeling whatever you're feeling when you hold him.

The doll made me smile immediately, it's adorable, and I love the blue yarn hair.

(That's the whole point! Although they used to freak out my dad and brother...Mom's always loved them! ) Thank you so much! ^__^

You're welcome! ^^ (Hehe, my doll freaked my brother out before it was even finished. XD)
Yeah, I just remembered when someone said that in a book I read; a white girl had been kidnapped and was now living with an Indian tribe. What's sad is that her own family was probably killed when they were seperated. The women of the tribe made her a doll, but they didn't add a mouth, for the reason I just mentioned. There were a bunch of hardships and things to get through. But in the end, the girl came to think of the tribe as family. ^^ It was a book the teacher read to us in class. (I don't remember the name.)

Aw! XD It's okay, my first doll (poor deformed Cecil...) freaks everyone out and I still love it!! It was only until earlier this year I trusted myself to fix his neck because I've gotten better; it was originally made so horribly a really thick scarf had to be made so his neck could support the head. XD Finally fixed it, but he's still deformed and creepy - but I love the character too much to care!!

(Another) Aw! I'm sorry for the girl, but at least she comes to love and accept the tribe.

LOL! I know how you feel! The first creation is loved no matter how strange it looks to others. ^^ Mine was a little Morton puppet from "Horton Hears a Who." I didn't have a sewing machine and did it all by hand, and used the thinnest sock material to make him. Even though he's simply done I still think he's a doll (hehe).

Yeah, it's a good ending. ^^

Aw! Yeah, everything I make is by hand. I don't know how to use a sewing machine, although I'm sure it would be easier and faster. The thing is that I've gotten used to sewing by hand, so I just don't really want to learn by sewing machine quite yet.
