Ascend — Description
I wanted to create a story around this structure which has been carved and built into the very face of the cliffs right at the edge of the water and then abandoned ages ago.
On a technical side, this image went through a lot of changes before I finally settled for the water body. The structure was roughly done in sketch-up and rendered at an angle similar to that of the painting and brought in after that.
