Scream: Reference Sheet — Description

No real story description to go with this one. But I wanted to get together a reference sheet of Scream for a while now to show case some of her details. Mainly with the mask and what's under the bang. Plus, it's been a while since the last Scream pic!

Since introducing Scream back in 2019, I've always had the right side of her face usually covered by her mask and what could be seen of her right eye would appear shut. The reason being was Scream was blind in her right eye and she would keep it shut to stop the "voices" from trying to get into her brain, thinking that her blind eye was an opening, a gateway into her mind that the voices could enter from. That's why she would keep her right eye covered with the mask because she'd believe that would stop the voices from getting in.
But whenever she needed those voices to take over so she could get a little crazy, the mask would come off so she could unleash "The Beast" within her, letting the voice of the Beast in to let her do her thing.

As for the scarring around her eye, that's from more recent injury she's sustained while inside the prison from crossing paths with Violet and her gang. Needless to say that Violet and her crew are on Scream's personal vendetta list now.

As for the mask. Well when she first came into the prison, it was pristine and in good condition. She was allowed to keep the mask because when they tried to take it from her she became violent towards prison staff, though it was reprogrammed it to remove most of it's features. As time has gone on however, it has taken some damage, usually when the Beast takes over as the Beast will use her mask as a weapon. Lore wise I am thinking that there is a glitch within the mask and its HUD sometimes displays messages to her, telling her to do things. Perhaps some strange virus resides within it...

And her bang is much more tatty and messy now to show that Scream doesn't really care about her personal appearance. Messy hair goes well with her personality.
