Switching Partners — Description

TUFF Tuesdays!
Kitty Katswell has changed partners. She has now partnered with Bubsy the Bobcat: whom she refers to as "another pantsless idiot."
Her comment on him "getting his act together" refers to his recent game Bubsy 4D. Bubsy managing to distance himself from his infamous "3D" past and actually starring in a decent game many years later. Dudley, meanwhile remains a hapless idiot. XD
The basic consensus from gamer reactions online is that Bubsy 4D is a pretty enjoyable and fun platformer. And having played it recently I can attest to this. But sometimes it's hard to control the orange furball and the game is very short: prolonged by some tricky and often frustrating platforming. It's certainly a big improvement from Bubsy 3D. But past games in recent memory like Mario Odyssey and Astro Bot did this kind of platforming better.
Still a budget platformer sold for the cheap is a welcome change of pace these days.
And seeing the return of this 90's anomaly goes with my "Never Say Never" attitude towards past gaming mascots returning in new games at any point in the future.
I kinda draw a similar scenario last year celebrating another semi-forgotten 90's gaming mascot.
Oblivia (Bubsy's main feline squeeze I think..) is starting to get extremely jealous over Kitty putting her claws on Bubsy's shoulders. Bubsy is understandably nervous. That "Scumsy" remark from her goes with the gag she can't remember Bubsy's real name. But she does this sometimes deliberately...and this is certainly one of those times.
