Romulus and Barchimedes would have kicked Howleen out of their circle after helping Clawdeen escape. Then Clawdeen would have invited Howleen into her circle, which Howleen would have accepted.

Of course, If Howleen was an orphan in this new series, Clawd and Clawdeen would have offered to be part of their family.
