General Mat Trym — Description

General Mat Trym was a Jedi Knight native to the exotic world of Pantora. His mastery of the Force manifested uniquely through his love of high speed and Speeder Bikes. Gifted with superhuman reflexes enhanced by the Force, he frequently operated at the forefront of battle lines. During the Clone Wars, Trym distinguished himself as a specialist in rapid assault tactics, working closely with numerous specialized units of the Grand Army of the Republic. The General led these motorized squads on both critical reconnaissance and deep infiltration missions as well as high-intensity direct combat.
In the final moments of the galactic conflict, the Jedi High Council assigned Trym to lead the 1700th BARC Battalion during the brutal Neotoka Campaign, a military operation that would extend over three months of non-stop fighting. The theater of war was complex: in addition to Trym's BARC Speeder battalion, the Republic mobilized the 1690th Attack Battalion and the 1702nd Infantry Battalion. The expeditionary force included a contingent of five Jedi; besides Trym, two more Jedi Masters and two Padawans participated.
The campaign proved to be a meat grinder from the very first month. Besides the heavy casualties among the clone troopers, tragedy struck the Order's ranks with the fall in combat of the experienced Master Aosurn Buk and his young Padawan, Batre Erden, who led the 1702nd Infantry Battalion.
General Trym's life was tragically cut short during the execution of Order 66. The fateful event occurred when Trym, along with Commander Speedy and Major Byker, led the Knights of Chaos Platoon in an assault on the last line of fortified bunkers separating Republic forces from the capital of Neotoka—the only territory on the planet currently under CIS control.
At the height of the assault, the secret contingency directive was transmitted. Without any hesitation due to the programming of their behavioral modification biochips, Speedy and Byker opened fire on their General from behind. Heavy blaster fire severely damaged the engine of his speeder bike. Unable to regain control of the vehicle at high speed, the Jedi violently crashed into the structure of a bunker, resulting in a catastrophic explosion that caused his instant death.
