Rii's Rope Cocoon Extreme Edition — Description

A little over a year ago I had the idea of putting Rii (riolu) in a rope cocoon (This one if you're curious Rii's Rope Cocoon) and it turned out to be one of my more fun ideas of that year. I had put him in a rather large rope harness and strung him up to a frame pinning him in place. The thing is by the time I got to the frame I was running out of rope and ended up splitting it to make the connections and that part ended up looking scrappy as a result. It was a minor annoyance at best but It did plant the idea of doing a sequel in my head back then. At the time I spun that idea off that idea into the Rii Cocooning Rii series (Re-Cocooning Rii - Layer 1 - Ropes!)
Now here I am a year later revisiting the original idea in a more literal way. I took the rope harness he was wearing back then and remade it for this piece with the intent of having it cover more of the body this time. I wasn't quite sure how at the time but I figured I'd make it up as I went along. Well I did and thus began playing around with adding a weaving pattern on top of his old harness and the results speak for itself. It was a bit of a pain since some of leg rope slid around alot when trying to work with but it was worth it in the end.
Another happy discovery is my new Nami (primarina) gag also fits Rii here although the strap is a little small for his big head. The more chunky bar for the mouth piece seems to be a good change in general I've noticed. I still have his other gag but I've been considering making a newer version of it too like I've been doing with the others. Lemmie know which one you think is better between his old one and this.
Anyway I've rambled on for long enough... Enjoy the piece!
