Description
The successor to the barebones P3R1-CMS Mech, the CMS62-Wolfpack Infantry Mech was introduced in 2859, on the cusp of the Zordar Civil War. The Wolfpack is significantly more advanced than the original CMS mech, with better sensors, countermeasures and overall mobility and agility. Meant to replace the old P3R1s the Wolfpack not only uses the same clamps/latches as the P3R1s but it also can use various modules, from mortar launchers to missile systemsas well as an AT laser shoulder/back mount.
The internal control systems use a force-feedback system to allow walking and operation of various weapons/objects. This system allows mech pilots to handle fragile objects with ease. The Force-Feedback system also allows for mech pilots to use the mech's legs to punt infantry, this for some reason is allowed.
Unlike the P3R1s which use 3 different Mech Rifle designs the Wolfpacks use a modular system known as the A0M60-Claymore Mech Rifle System, which uses interchangeable components throughout other than the more specialized variants.
The UNDC primarily uses 3 versions, a 35mm chaingun variant for anti-infantry, a 40mm autocannon for general targets and a long range 90mm railgun for anti-tank/mech combat. The Wolfpacks come with an exterior ammunition storage container on the back of the hip.
UNDC vehicle crew use the KACB18-Stilleto SMG, an SMG chambered in 9mm with the standard magazine capacity of 25 rounds. It can easily be stored within a mech cockpit despite the extra handle being in the way. The SMG is also used by UNDC Marine boarding parties and in general CQC engagements.
