Chained-Good Copy — Description
This is the good copy of the Chained in my scraps. I wasn't having a good day when I did the original sketch but the whole picture is more symbolic of a personal belief I have.

Basically the day I did this I felt very helpless, I didn't want to fight anymore I just wanted to give in to the black abyss that was so loudly calling me. My belief is that each part of us is divided into our own seperate dieties (Yes I know I'm a freak but it will make this picture make more sense.) Personally I associate my strength with Shadow (yes my persona), my will/determination/stuborness with the dragon, my mind a keen hawk, my heart a young child, and so on and so forth. Everytime someone beats us down verbally or physically a link is added to the chain of misery that trys to tie down our determination. The chains that the links create can be broken but only so many times before it becomes overwhelming. Eventually you become chained to the spot, never being able to move forwards or backwards but just being dragged down in defeat.
In this picture the dragon is represented by Bomber, Shadow's dragon and friend (see the conection ).

I am actually pleased with how some of this turned out, or it could just be the fact that I am pleased that I finished it because it took me 4hrs to do (damn you little links ). Sorry it's a bit smudged my hand got wet and slid across the page.
