Approaching Medical Starbase Delta — Description

Stardate: 2272.5.24
After returning from her Five Year Mission the USS Endeavour spent the next two years in spacedock undergoing an extensive refit. A few days ago she was once again relaunched. She'll be sent out on
a second Five Year Mission next year but before that she's going to spend the next few months
coordinating Starfleet's exploration programs on the frontier and making a few high profile stops along
the way.
Today we're arriving at one of the first of those stops: Medical Starbase Delta located in orbit of Vorana Prime. One of four starbases run by Starfleet Medical it's both a Hospital, Medical Research center
and a hub for the Interspecies Medical Exchange. It's renowned for its specialized patient care,
and advanced training programs and its personnel are among Starfleet's most seasoned medical officers.
Doctor McCoy has several colleagues here and is looking forward to the visit. I am too for a similar reason. Two very special colleagues of mine are here as well: Chief Petty Officers Tuskaro Alyen and Shylea L'Naym.
