last summer, for four months i've been working in the swiss mountains. i was milking cows, building fences, doing cheese, etc.
it was a very lonely lifestyle, where pretty much the only constant communictation you could have was with the cows...
sometimes on sundays afternoon, our only free time of the week, people were coming to visit us where air is slimmer and slimmer.
this was one of these. it was for a very special reason though. not long ago, one of the farmer who worked there some years ago, he was also the kid of the first farmers ever to make cheese in this mountain, past away. he died of cancer. he was 38... all of the family met to make is 8 years old wish come true. once he said to his father: "this mountain is my home, i wanna be here when it's over.".
this sunday afternoon was for him...

c'est difficle d'exprimer avec une photo l'énergie et la vibration qui agissait dans la montagne cet après-midi là. j'avais du mal à prendre le moment à travers un objectif, j'me sentais quelque peu incorfortable. jme sentais percer l'intimité où ce n'était pas nécessaire...
c'était joyeux et triste en même temps.
