Personality:
Quiet, meek, and anxious--Elly is a lonely creature of habit and routine. She keeps to herself. Elly is polite and kind, but when faced with opposition she bristles. Under stress, Elly’s polite mask peels, hinting to a reckless and impatient creature prone to snappish remarks and a biting tongue. But for the most part, she’s just quiet little Elly--the silent and the fidgety.

Background:
When not acting her role, Elly flits around her game, helping corral the lost souls back to their cages. She never leaves her game, not that she usually wants to. It’s the Gate Keeper’s discretion that says otherwise...and he’s just as xenophobic as she is.

Role:
Elly is the main character of Hymn, a platformer game.

Strengths:
As a character in a platformer, Elly is a master of riddles and puzzles. She is also quick on her feet and accurate when calculating distances and trajectories between herself and her target. She is undaunted by heights. In SINISTER MODE she is bold, durable, and tricky. Though weighed down, she compensates with agile dodges and can slip into shadows for a brief period of time.

Weaknesses:
Elly follows the rules of the game--she’s naive to ruthless behavior and unprecedented play. She dislikes small spaces and prefers manuevering room. In NORMAL MODE she is fragile--blunt objects can displace her stuffing and strong gusts bully her.
