Description
Well, this is a pretty plain and simple character portait of Sayda. You'll probably recognize the image from the layout of my website, Crimson Sonata . Just felt like taking the picture and doing 'more' with it ^_^; So I added some color and threw in a background to make it look more complete and snazzy.
I modeled the look of this image based off of my AWAKEN picture I did not too long ago...I think I'm going to do a couple more of these featuring Chaos instead to match, make a series out of them of sorts ^_^; But well, we'll see how it goes...

She is so beautiful! Since I started watching you, you've given me a lot of inspiration to start drawing my dragon character again. And it's because you create works of art like this. It's so simple and detailed. And I love the little glowy spheres too, how they seem to subtly change from green to red.
Gorgeous <3

I know it is an odd question, but what made you decide to flip the tail completely over behind her, i am always fascinated by artistic representation of how a tail acts. So can you tell me your inspiration ofr tails? (like a cat or a dog or a lizard XD)
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Mmmm...well, I never really thought about it O_O;; It's sorta like a mix of a lizard and a cat tail I guess, I just try to keep in mind that the tail is part of her spine and can only move in so many ways without being 'painful', especially since it's not based off of something like monkey tails which are prehensile and can wrap around stuff.

so mostly based off of a lizard tail?

I was hoping something like this would appear ever since I saw your AWAKEN piece. And I 'm definitely not disappointed at all

Hehe, I'm glad ^__^ You are welcomed!

I agree with everyone else.. hahaa ^.^ Great Work: you can really see the progression of your art. While its always been good and one to admire -- you can definitely tell how you've developed your personal technique into your unique and creative pieces today.
Question? you say 100% in photoshop, does this include sketch and inking? or did you ink it before scanning and painting in photoshop?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Awww, thanks so much ^__^ I'm really glad you think so, it's always interesting to hear people's insight into my artwork ^__^d
As for the 100% in Photoshop, that means that the original sketch, inks and colors were all done in Photoshop and that none of it was done outside the program. No pencils or paper were involved in it's creation
