... our own crosses to bare, our own wings to fly withWow O.o DeviantART finally changed the submittion page :3 I'm so elated... now it looks like it goes with the rest of the site... though if you ask me, they should have caught that a long long time before they put up the new DA version... but *cough* it's not my place to say....
Sorry for submitting this... it's an unfinished drawing in my sketchbook. *sigh* I should have drawn it on good paper rather than my rough sketchbook paper... it looks all noisey and unsmooth T__T... I'm too lazy to go and redraw it
I just feel I have some sort of quota that requires me to upload something every so often ^^'I feel happy today... I found a friend to go into the metal shop with me so I don't braze my fingers off ^^ which is good... as I need them for drawing... LOL, you know after my surgery I told my doctor that I didn't care what he took out of me... as long as he didn't cut off my right hand XD I love that hand (sorry lefty)
... Oh, before you ask, yeah, the surgery was a major one... I got cut from my ribcage to my pelvis but I'm totally fine now(I got this awesome scar too~!) so don't worry 'bout me ^^

That's beautiful... U____U And so shiny~ You shaded the picture so softly it gives of an immediate feeling of something angelic. I really admire you for not completely... well.. completing it! 'Makes it seem more 'free-flowy'. And I have to say, I'm head over heels for that whispy design above him~ ^x^

Oh, I was much more worried upon the diagnosis rather than the idea of having surgery XD I think that once they found out what was wrong with me, they set up the surgery very soon afterward so I didn't have much time to have it fester in my brain. In retrospect, I think maybe I should have been more afraid. ^^' Anyway, *huggles* and thank you ^^

It might be because it's unfinished like you said, but I kinda like the look and feel of this picator. I like how most of it is blank/white, but a few areas, like the face, are shaded. But then there aren't hard outlines around the face, either, so it looks slightly formless or unconfined. I think that looks interesting by making the pic look ethereal and dreamlike, or something. It seems to be an appropriate feel for the subject, what with the character having those awesome wings and all. The expression looks really appropriate, too, as it it seems kinda angelic somehow.

it looks somewhat neat like this though. very dreamy and surreal feeling, more angelic. I think you should leave it, at least for DA purposes.
