Lol an idea out of the blue. Don't understand? Lemme explain.Here on the first panel, you see the Elric brothers as kids. Now being a lil bro he is, Al kinda sought help from Ed by hiding behind his back (Note that he is saying "Oniichan, tatsukete" which literally means "Help me,brother")
Now 4 years has passed, and after the whole incident, what would it be like when Al still behaving like that? Hence, the weird atmosphere in the second panel with Ed thinking "Something's wrong here..."
(Note that this time Al says Oniisan, instead of Oniichan)Excuse my bad writings on kanji. Was using a mouse so it's a bit hard.

EDIT : Realized the typo on "Help"
