Spent a long time trying to create a good 3 stage ghost type. First it was a boggart/ghoul thing but I wasn’t feeling it for a 3 stage. I did have an idea for a ghost clown but I had forgotten it by the time I had drawn this one. I learned about the Black Annis which I found interesting and is an English folk tale so it made sense.
I admit I redrew the hair a couple of times. Originally it was more wavy before I decided to have it be more wild and sharp. It also didn't have a nose before I added it to make it more haggish.
The Water typing was added because these kinds of creatures normally appear near lakes. Water hags like Jenny Greenteeth and Nelly Longarms. It also makes it a counter to the Trock line.
The Boogurl line is a companion to the Trock line, as they’re both based on folklore. It and the Bralien line are based on fears, ghosts and alien mind probing. The ‘girl’ Fakemon to the Rumbini line.
