Backstory
Omi was born from a rare union of kumer and dragoness. It wasn't a random encounter, but an actual love couple as kumer spent a few years with his mate before considering a child.
But, soon after her birth, kumer left his mate. He checked Omi for any sight of shadow abilities before that though, and she seemed to have none.
He never returned.
When Ominebra was old enough to speak some words with understanding, she started to hear voices "out of nowhere", which hissed primitive sentenses or sounded like wild animals.
Her mother was not informed by her mate that he was a shadow dragon, neither did he tell her about shadow abilities or anything related before his disappearance.
So, when Omi mentioned voices, her mother blamed the child's imagination.
But the voices didn't stop even when the striped dragoness became a teen, and, later, an adult. She had seen shadows taking a shape when no one watched, and, despite what she was taught, shadows were friendly with her.
Many believed she was insane, so Ominebra decided to keep her chats in secret. Even so, no one wanted to be an acquaitance of hers.
The shadows are her only friends.

Personality
A rejection of society made her a closed being. She seems cold and rational, not talkative at all, more like a real kumer. It's a mask she wears all the time, even when she is with her mother. Only the shadows have a chance to see her different.
She is curious about many things, yet, as there is no one to ask about it, she learns everything herself.

Kumerran
Kumerran is a shadow word for a child of kumer and any other non-shadow being.
Kumerrans are very rare, because very few kumere are known to develop feelings and emotions enough for understanding basic concepts of love. Such hybrids gain some of kumer's coloration/details and shadow abilities.
They live longer than average non-kumer parent, and they do not age once they matured. However, they tend to inherit kumer's personality, which makes them rational, cold, uninterested and not very talkative.

Abilities:
The only ability she inherited from her father is the shadow language. The shadow language is used only by shadows, and to anyone else any word or sentense seems to be just some collection of sounds like "hsshhhkht".
But Ominebra possesses an ability to understand it. It doesn't feel like a foreign language as she hears it as if the words were from regular language, and when she talks with any shadow, it seems the same. She doesn't know if shadows understand her regular words or -somehow- her words are translated without her noticing as they leave her mouth.

Other facts:
- she cannot use any magic.
