Masked and Alone Siblings — Description
Here are designs for the 2 characters who were in my recent story =^-^=, I hadn't thought of names for them when I wrote the opening part but for this drawing I decided Marela and Ouro. I hope to go for a parallel journeys style journey with Marela communicating more with people and starting to feel more confident while Ouro stays more decent and maybe starts to become one with his inner darkness by aiding selfish people just to feel some form of importance. Marela will definitely be the main character though since she was the one narrating the opening part and the story will focus more on her trying to interact with others and eventually removing her mask. I want to try and work on this story often so hopefully I will do a part a week but I kind of find story writing more stressful sometimes so that may not work out but I shall try.

For their outfits I tried to give Marela a more cute and bright one and for Ouro I wanted to go for a more strange one and was semi going for an antagonist vibe as I may have him get in the way of Marela's goal. At first I wanted to give them the same green tone but I kind of liked the concept of Ouro having darker hair as a sort of representation of his potential turn towards his inner darkness, I will probably give them the same eye colour if I do mask less designs. I had a lot of fun with Marela's outfit as the dots pattern on her dress came out really cute, if its not clear I gave her flower patterns on her arm bands. The blue colour scheme on Ouro's outfit came out really nice too and I think the more flat and less decorative style of his outfit again helps to oppose Marela's design, over all proud of both designs and hopefully they shall be great additions to the oc family .
