Dextra-Yugioh Zexal — Description
Dextra works alongside Nestro as sort of bodyguard like characters but during the Barian section of the show she becomes Nestro's manager when he becomes a sort of pro duelist. Both her voice and design made her seem a lot more badass than she was plus the name Dextra sounds really cool but the show didn't really do much with her as she was pretty much just semi hyped up to lose to one of the main antagonists of the World Duel Carnival. In her duel with him she basically trapped him in a combo where he either took damage for attacking or his monsters would be destroyed if they were in attack mode but its Yugioh so being trapped=the character is obviously going to get out of it . I felt the first drawing of her was too skinny so I decided to fill more space with a drawing of a younger version of her and boy did little Dextra come out cute =^-^=, not going to lie I actually prefer the younger drawing of her .

I tried drawing her legs first but messed up their position so switched to using the skirt as a starting point which helped me to centre them a bit more and after that the drawing was pretty straight forward. The hair going down her face took quite a few attempts as I felt it kept looking off (I drew the left one flowing away from the direction of the ring one but drawing them flowing the same direction looked nice). Her duel disk is suppose to be shaped like a butterfly wing but I didn't draw it the best, it was quite nice to draw a duel disk other than the VRAINS ones (feel like they were more custom in this series). The points of little Dextra's hair being above her eyes made drawing it a lot easier plus her shirt came out really nice as well , feel I could of drawn older Dextra better so may go for a re draw in the future.
